   Showcase Saturdays Town Center May 26th Rating:  Showcase Saturdays are proving to be a nice addition to the El Dorado Hills list of recreation. This reviewer would like to take a tongue and cheek moment to say this event provides one with a Costco experience. In a mostly good but also bad way.What does everyone love about Costco. The free samples. What does everyone hate about Costco the mobs of people. This showcase is a fun way for families to get out of the house and find something to do in El Dorado Hills that is inexpensive but fun. The El Dorado Hills vendors come out and give samples of their wares. Whether it is the hot dogs from the new or an original appetizer from Bistro 33. One could take in the whole showcase and not have to eat dinner afterwards. The other plus to this event is the music acts they are starting to add to the bill. Music mixed with an outdoor venue and a taste of a summer fair are the perfect combination. So walk around and sample the best that Town Center has to offer then take a minute to sit back and enjoy the live band at Stephen Young amphitheater. The down side will soon be the crowds when this event catches on and it will catch on. There is only one more of these Saturdays scheduled so take advantage of the next one on June 23rd. This event earns a 4 out of 5 stars for simply delivering on a simple promise.
